About Chef Jackie
Jackie Henderson’s culinary journey began at a young age when she started working at her mom’s and aunt’s restaurant at the age of 12. After honing her skills, she pursued a degree in Culinary Arts & Baking & Pastry Arts from Ivy Tech College in Fort Wayne. She then went on to become the Manager Chef at Glendarin Hills Golf Club in 2012 and later the Director of Catering at Trine University Bon Appetit in 2016. In 2017, she opened her own establishment, The Deli at Sixth & Main in Auburn, IN. Always on the move, Jackie continued to pursue her passion for food, and in 2021, she opened the Hoosier Mama Food Truck. Her hard work and dedication have paid off, as she has recently been appointed as the Executive Chef at Kruse Plaza in 2023. Her impressive career path and unwavering commitment to her craft make her a true culinary force to be reckoned with.
About Chef Joe
Joe Moncada has been passionate about cooking since he was a teenager. He started working at his family’s restaurant in Eaton Rapids, MI at the age of 15, and soon discovered his talent for creating delicious dishes. After a few years, he joined the Navy at 19 and served three tours of duty in Iraq. Upon his return, he decided to pursue his passion for cooking and enrolled in culinary school. He landed his first job as the Bon Appetit Sous Chef at Hillsdale College in 2010 and later moved on to become the Sous Chef at Trine University in 2015. With his dedication to his craft and talent in the kitchen, he was promoted to the position of Executive Sous Chef at Glendarin Hills Golf Club in 2020. His impressive culinary skills and leadership qualities have earned him a well-deserved appointment as the Executive Sous Chef at Kruse Plaza in 2023. Joe Moncada’s inspiring journey serves as a testament to the value of hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to one’s passion.
