About Chef Joe

After graduating top of his class from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Pittsburg native Joseph Allison wasted no time making moves through the culinary ranks. Just one year removed from graduation, Joseph was offered the position of Sous Chef at Fine Dining Steakhouse, The Capital Grille and eventually became the youngest Executive Chef Partner in the company’s history just one year later. After several years in the position, Joseph married his love for culinary arts with education when he received his Master’s of Business Administration. According to Joseph, educating is one of the most demanding, humbling, and satisfying jobs he has ever had.

In 2016, Joseph and his wife, Courtni (who also has a passion for food and business) moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where they have successfully launched two next-level food trucks Head2Hock and The Localvore. Today, Joseph seeks to use his innovative approach and comprehensive knowledge to add a little extra pizzaz to every Kruse Plaza wedding and next-level corporate event.
