Event Sales Coordinator

My name is Kate Woehnker, and I am pleased to serve as the Event Sales Coordinator for Kruse Plaza. My passion for the hospitality industry was planted when I was young. I accepted my first job in 2009 in event catering. I graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management in 2015. I lead positions from Vice President of Development for College Mentors for Kids to President of the Hospitality and Food Management Association. Since college, I have been developing my experience and serving the community through event design, event rental sales, and now event sales. It has been a pleasure to move home and build connections with local professionals and members of the community.

In my spare time, you can find me volunteering throughout Northeast Indiana with Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a service organization. Through Big Brothers Big Sisters, I serve as a Big Sister and DeKalb County Ambassador. I am proud to serve my church as a young adult Life Group Leader and Kids Ministry Partner. I love to find hidden gems in Northeast Indiana by walking and hiking our trails, walking my dogs, and finding new ice cream places. Do not be surprised if I ask you what your favorite is, and maybe you will get some bonus points if you can guess mine! I look forward to serving you as you begin planning your special event.

Event Account Coordinator

I'm Terri Hug, and I have been working at Kruse Plaza for 4 years. My previous positions with the company have been Executive Assistant to the President, Event Media Specialist, Payroll Specialist, and Weddings Coordinator. I'm thrilled to continue my journey as the Account Coordinator for Events at Kruse Plaza

I have been married for 19 years and have 3 children: a high school Junior, a 7th grader, and a 6th grader. I am passionate about being actively involved in DeKalb County serving on many boards and organizations. I currently hold an officer position for the Auburn Kiwanis Club, and I am on the City of Garrett Parks and Recreation Board.
